Viega Mixing Stations modulate a hydronic system’s water supply temperature using a diverting valve with an adjustable built-in mechanical high limit.
The Viega Enhanced Mixing Station incorporates an energy efficient circulator with a permanent magnet motor design, reducing power consumption by 50% in some cases. With versatile boiler side connections and compatibility with most heat sources, Viega Enhanced Mixing Stations offer efficient circulation with reduced energy expense.
Compatible with either electronic or non-electronic controls, Mixing Stations can be ordered with a preassembled manifold in various configurations. The Viega Mixing Station provides supply water temperature modulation when connected to a variety of heat sources such as conventional or condensing boilers, water heaters, or geothermal heat pumps.
Stations are available with three-speed circulator pumps either in high or low head. Boiler connections can be made with Viega ProPress, Viega PEX Press Adapters or copper (male) for soldering. Red and blue caps on the ProPress Ball Valves clearly indicate system supply and return connections.
A built-in sensor well allows easy mounting of the supply temperature sensor for either the Basic Heating Control or Advanced Heating Control.
