Viega fittings come with either an EPDM, HNBR or FKM sealing element that is factory-installed and field-ready. Our sealing elements are a static seal and are permanent once pressed. This allows the system to perform at a broad range of pressures, temperatures and applications. Every Viega press fitting is built with our Smart Connect ® technology that helps you identify unpressed connections immediately.

Grip Ring
Bidirectional teeth grip provides mechanical strength and securely locks the fitting to the pipe.

Separator Ring
Provides positive physical separation to protect the sealing element from the grip ring.

Sealing Element
Elastomeric insurance behind the metal-to-metal contact compensates for small irregularities of pipe surface.

Smart Connect® Technology
Easily identifies unpressed connections by allowing flow until pressed.

We recently invested major capital in our McPherson, Kansas, manufacturing and distribution facility. In addition, we announced the groundbreaking of a new 220,000-square-foot plant in Mantua, Ohio, to support growing demand for ProPress and MegaPress systems.

Our commitment continues with growing distribution centers in Reno, Nevada, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and more North American expansion planned for 2024 and 2025.

With press technology, contractors can significantly shorten downtime for repairs since there’s no need to entirely drain a system. There are no flames with press fitting pipe, so fire watch is unnecessary.
