VIEGA

MARINE SOLUTIONS

REDUCE YARD TIME.

Viega products make construction, maintenance and repairs easier for customers working on vessels with small spaces and with tight windows for work. With no need for flame or harsh chemicals, workers can use Viega fittings to make quick connections while other trades work alongside them.

BENEFITS OF VIEGA PRESS TECHNOLOGY
Press Tech Marine

Icon Safer

Eliminate Hot Work

Viega press fittings require no open flames or hot work permits which means all the trades can work together at the same time, allowing the project to get done – fast.

Faster Icon

Faster, Consistent Connections

A simple 11 joint assembly takes just under 11 minutes to press*. Compare that to more than two-and-a-half hours of welding and you’re talking about some serious cost savings.

Icon Plumbing Design

Reliable + Quality Installation

Unlike groove or threaded connections that reduce pipe wall thickness, Viega fittings preserve pipe integrity. All of our fittings come factory assembled for maximum consistency in the field.

Icon Flexible Design

Faster System Commissioning

With Viega press fittings, you don't need to flush the system or perform environmental testing during install. Pressure testing can be completed immediately.

Viega in Action

MegaPress CuNi is put to the test during the first NAVSEA Train-the-Trainer Program. See how MegaPress CuNi press technology compares to traditional brazing in this installation timed trial.

MegaPress® CuNi press fittings went through a rigorous hammer test to prove their strength for use on Navy combat ships, offering an alternative to traditional welding installations.

The USS New Jersey is one of four retired battleships, now a monument and museum, that needed a new water meter.

THE VIEGA DIFFERENCE

Viega press fitting systems are engineered to last the life of the system while delivering unrivaled consistency press-after-press. Viega fittings are secured with stainless steel grip rings using over 5,000 pounds of force and include a separator ring and sealing element outside of the flowpath to increase system lifespan and stand up to a broad range of pressures, temperatures, and applications. With smart connect technology, you can rest assured that all pipe connections have been made and false positives are a thing of the past.
